About the Golden Irish Breed.
We are so excited about the Golden Irish Dog! These dogs are called Irish Retriever Dogs or Golden Setter Dogs as well. They are such a beautiful hybrid and make such good family dogs. They enjoy people and love an interactive lifestyle. There are three main reasons we point out to customers that make us so excited about the Golden Irish. They are:
1. Red Coats, and less Shedding! The Golden Irish have a BEAUTIFUL red coat. It will need brushed often, and even groomed, but when taken care of, makes a stunning Golden Irish dog! Irish Setters shed slightly less than Golden Retrievers do, so this Golden Irish hybrid sheds slightly less than the Golden Retriever dogs do.
2. Health. When crossing the Irish Setter breed and the Golden Retriever breed together, this makes a very healthy and robust Golden Irish dog! Crossing the breeds as we do, helps the genetic weaknesses of both breeds. The Golden Irish dog tends to live to be about 10-15 years, on average.
3. Great Family Dogs. The Golden Irish Dog enjoys being in the middle of the action. The family will love playing with it, and with the correct training, can learn whatever the family wants it to know! The Golden Irish dog is a larger dog, so a larger yard is nice for the dog to run off energy.
We are very excited about the beautiful Golden Irish Dog and cannot wait to share their joy with you!
